Petition To: Members of the Wisconsin General Assembly
Whereas: The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution states that “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed;” and
Whereas: Universal Background Checks (aka Statewide Gun Registration) will do nothing more than lay the foundation for GUN CONFISCATION down the road; and
Whereas: A statewide so-called “Assault Weapons” ban seeks to outlaw any semi-automatic rifle, shotgun, or pistols based solely on their cosmetic “scary” features; and
Whereas: So-called “Red Flag Gun Seizures” will strip law-abiding gun owners of their firearms with no evidence, no due process and not so much as a day in court;
Therefore: As your constituent, I insist you VOTE NO on the full slate of gun control bills listed above, which clearly violate our Second Amendment rights!
